						With synchrotron & He-lamp-based angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), molecular-beam epitaxy (MBE), and oxide MBE, we
1.   design and create complex quantum materials, such as high-temperature superconductors, magnetic topological insulators, low-dimensional systems, etc., and study the interfacial effect
2.   search for novel topological quantum states of matter, e.g., magnetic Weyl fermions with anomalous Hall effect, topological nodal-surface semimetals, two-dimensional topological insulators, etc.
3.   uncover the underlying mechanism of extremely large magnetoresistance in non-magnetic semimetals
4.   explore novel topological phases in strongly correlated systems and study the subtle interplay
5.   study the topological nature of the in-gap surface states in novel Mobius Kondo insulators and Weyl-Kondo semimetals
